Under the agreement, the Sydney-based firm will extend Yellowfin’s easy-to-use BI solution, and range of professional services, to its Australian and international client base.

SolveXia Managing Director and CIO, James Simpson, said that Yellowfin’s offerings were essential to “round out” the value SolveXia could deliver to its clients.

“The alliance will allow SolveXia to provide businesses with an end-to-end story for the lifecycle of information – from business process automation, information storage, to providing reporting and analytics capabilities,” said Simpson.

Simpson said that SolveXia decided to partner with Yellowfin because it was able to satisfy demands that other BI vendors could not.

“Yellowfin’s BI software offered a unique combination of consumer-oriented Web-based technology and world-class functionality,” said Simpson.  “The technical capabilities of its software, matched with expert local support, made the decision to partner with Yellowfin easy.”

SolveXia Senior Quality Engineer, Viral Panchal, said Yellowfin’s strong educational approach was another major factor that made the partnership decision straightforward.

“Yellowfin offers great support, and their team cares passionately about their product and the success of their partners,” said Panchal.  “This commitment to ongoing partner and client learning is evidenced by the dedication of their consulting team, and through the educational Webinars they run.”

Yellowfin CEO, Glen Rabie, said that the agreement would cement both companies as dominant forces in the Australian enterprise software market.

“SolveXia’s ability to provide quality Web-based business process automation solutions, to a range of clients, is second to none,” said Rabie. “This mutually beneficial partnership will help raise the profile of both organizations – particularly within Australia’s ICT community.”
