Oracle Business Intelligence Software Offers iPhone, iPad Support

Oracle announced on Tuesday the introduction of BI (Business Intelligence) software support for Apple iPhones and iPads.

Business Intelligence v11.1.1.5 will allow the iPhone and iPad users to take advantage of the software without requiring them to rewrite existing dashboard and reports, the company revealed.

This product also brings improved assistance for data sources such as Oracle’s TimesTen in-memory database, SAP Business Information Warehouse and many more.

Oracle also revealed about the new versions of the Business Intelligence applications will provide improved support to various business domains including finance, HR etc.

“These new Oracle Business Intelligence product releases build upon the success of Oracle BI 11g and provide customers a wide range of new capabilities that extend intelligence to the iPad and iPhone,” said Paul Rodwick, vice president of Product Management, Oracle Business Intelligence, reports iPad Guide.

“[The new product releases] offer more powerful visualization, interactivity, performance and scalability features to their ERP and CRM applications, and optimize customer interactions and decisions in real-time,” Rodwick added.
