InterDev Partners with Map Analytics Firm Maptiks; Helps GIS Customers Gain Actionable Insights from Web Map Interactions

ALPHARETTA, GA – October 10, 2016 — InterDev, an Atlanta-area provider of information technology, security and geographic information service (GIS) services, today announced it has become a Maptiks partner. InterDev is deploying the mapping analytics solution for its customers and incorporating it as part of its Esri-based Mosaic GIS cloud platform.

Based on a principle similar to Google Analytics, Maptiks monitors a unique identifier inserted into the code of each web-based map. Maptiks then tracks and reports on user and site activity, securely and in real time. Designed for developers, managers and other GIS system stakeholders, Maptiks provides the insight and information to make better decisions and be more responsive to changing needs.
