Greenpeace wants to open consumers’ eyes concerning the kind of fuel used to power increasingly popular cloud services in the hope of pressuring tech giants like Apple, Amazon and Microsoft to clean up their acts. For their part, the companies have countered that the figures cited by Greenpeace do not add up, and that they are making efforts to rely more on green energy.
