(November 4, 2014) —  The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) – the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries – and InfoCommerce Group today announced the five data products they have named as national Models of Excellence.  The CEOs from the companies that produced them will present a compelling picture of how data and analytics are revolutionizing technology, business and society at the upcoming Business Information & Media Summit (BIMS), November 10-12 in Miami, Florida.

Attendees and media will have the opportunity to hear how the Models of Excellence were developed and see how data is being used in unique and powerful new ways.  BIMS combines three former conferences – InfoCommerce Group’s DataContent Conference, the Specialized Information Publishers Association’s Marketing Conference, and the American Business Media’s Executive Forum – into one comprehensive event that examines the trends of the changing B2B media industry.

For 11 years, the Models of Excellence program has honored the companies that are setting – and re-setting – the standards for data excellence.  Working with SIIA, InfoCommerce Group reviews the information industry landscape to identify the products that are pioneering or perfecting new business models, exhibit best practices or offer technological innovation.  This year’s five winning products are:
