San Diego, CA – October 8, 2013 – BP Logix, a developer of BPM software that accelerates time-to-value, today announced that Contract Leasing Corp. (CLC), a semi-trailer leasing and fleet management company, has selected Process Director to streamline its business processes. Process Director/Cloud Edition is being used to automate the leasing company’s forms and core processes for Sales, Operations, and Human Resources departments.

Contract Leasing Corp. provides end-to-end semi trailer leasing, sales and rental programs and services to a large variety of customers, ranging from a single dry van, flat bed or refrigerated van to comprehensive trailer fleet management for Fortune 500 companies. CLC offers fleet management services that include management of customer owned equipment, compliance management, state-of-the-art trailer tracking technology, lifecycle/replacement, operational studies as well as a national fleet maintenance and repair network. Contract Leasing Corp. provides customers with customized fleet management solutions, including a recently published customer web portal that enables customers to manage their trailer maintenance and lease expenditures as well as access important documents 24/7.

Adam Giannetti, the Director of Operations for CLC, is responsible for continuous improvement of CLC’s customer-centric, process-driven business model. Having worked in and led the maintenance and analytics department of GE Trailer Fleet Services for 11 years, Giannetti had previously created the Equipment Management Service Maintenance and Repair Tool (EMSMART) which automated all shop management functions and integrated the leasing system and online customer portal to provide inspection and repair information. Giannetti found that capturing information accurately once, then reusing it throughout subsequent business processes, is essential to reducing errors and streamlining the customer experience.

Recognizing the need to capture data from mobile devices, automate workflows, generate customer-facing documents and do so without having to involve IT, Giannetti reviewed a number of products. He conducted extensive interviews with four BPM vendors, ultimately selecting BP Logix Process Director/Cloud Edition™. “We selected Process Director as it offered all the functionality we required and will help us to achieve cross-departmental improvements. In addition, by implementing the Process Timeline™, we will derive benefits we had not originally anticipated. Among them is knowing that, when we hit a milestone prior to going live, the conditions and dependencies in related activities have been addressed,”  stated Giannetti.

Process Director enables users to review both current and historical data related to business processes, understands the implication of activities in running processes and instantly implements corrective action to overcome a pending problem if one is present. Process Director fuses traditional workflow automation with the BP Logix Process Timeline. As a result it enables process builders to specify dependencies and conditions, determine the planned duration of a process and define the order for all activities within the process.
