Botkyrkabyggen has selected one of the new mobile applications from Vitec Fastighetssystem, which allows their customers to search for available housing using mobile devices. The initiative is part of the efforts of Botkyrkabyggen to increase availability and enhance service levels. Customers will use the mobile application to express interest in apartments and receive offers. The application makes it possible for customers to have access to information about floor plans, photos and area maps. Vitec applications are developed for the three leading mobile platforms on the market, Apple, Google and Microsoft.

“We see enormous investment opportunities for further increasing service and accessibility for our customers. We want to take advantage of the rapid developments in the mobile area and the fact that many of our customers now have access to smart phones, and soon, tablets,” says Charlotte Ekfeldt, Head of Business Development at Botkyrkabyggen.

“The rental market in Sweden is characterized by high demand and very limited availability. With improved access to listings, tenants can increase the possibility of securing an apartment within a reasonable period of time” continues Ekfeldt.

“We are extremely proud to implement this project with Botkyrkabyggen. We are developing our applications to provide not only a complementary way of accessing our advanced solutions, but also to make critical functionality easily available to a wide range of users” said Tommy Hallberg, CEO of Vitec Fastighetssystem.
