Since opening its new UK office in March, Yellowfin has signed agreements with experienced partners focused on delivering new generation BI solutions

Yellowfin, a global Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics software vendor, today announced that it has signed agreements with 15 Value Added Resellers (VARs) across Europe, the majority of which are based in the UK, to help sell and market its award-winning BI solution.

New signings include BI focused VARs such as Perception BI (UK), DNASTREAM (UK), Kkandoo (UK), xMachina (UK), Strategic Solutions Northern (UK), Orion & Associates (UK), BluBrdVis (UK), First Consulting (Netherlands), Systematika (Germany), Mayato (Germany), Obiss (Denmark), Qualco (Greece), Trinity Solutions (UAE), Veracity (Israel) and Haceb (Lebanon).

This announcement comes four months after Yellowfin opened its new UK office, a move designed to support the growth of the vendor’s channel network throughout the region.

Yellowfin Managing Director for EMEA, Peter Baxter, said that resellers were keen to offer their customers an alternative to the cost and complexity of traditional BI tools.

“Yellowfin’s business model, and business-user-focused approach to BI, has been very well received by the UK and broader European channel market,” said Baxter. “We’re delighted to have recruited some of Europe’s most sophisticated BI resellers in such a short space of time.”

Baxter said that resellers were choosing to work with Yellowfin for two main reasons.

“First and foremost, our go-to-market strategy in EMEA is 100 percent indirect and we will therefore never compete with our partners on software or professional services,” said Baxter. “Secondly, our BI solution is able to meet end-customer demand for pervasive BI by being easy for business users to work with.”

David Pearson – Managing Director of recently signed UK reseller partner, Orion & Associates – said that Yellowfin’s partner-focused market approach, end-user ease-of-use and low total cost of ownership provided an ideal fit for Orion & Associates’ existing business model.

“Yellowfin enables business users to independently access data-based insights while giving IT the governance features needed to enable widespread BI deployments,” said Pearson. “Partnering with Yellowfin has allowed us to deliver the perfect Business Intelligence solution for our clients – enterprise grade reporting and analytics at an SMB price point.”

Yellowfin has grown rapidly since its formation twelve years ago, with over 10,000 customers – and more than one million end-users across 70 different countries – using its BI platform every day. Major European customers include Lancashire NHS Trust, Honda Europe and Konstanz University.
