Vangent Guide Provides Roadmap to Implementing Enterprise Architecture as Foundation for Good Governance

Guide to Good Governance succinctly explains the important role enterprise architecture plays in pursuing good governance practices and proposes an effective approach.
Federal agencies are facing complex budgetary, political, and legislative challenges; they are being required to trim at least five percent or more off their budgets. Additionally, the Office of Management and Budget expects federal agencies to meet more stringent accountability and transparency requirements. Guide to Good Governance helps organizations achieve compliance and overcome obstacles and misperceptions about enterprise architecture by presenting a three-step rollout strategy that streamlines the adoption of good governance strategy and makes the best use of its ability to inform and mature governance mechanisms.

The guide was written by Simona Lovin, PMP, MBA, Director, Health Solutions. Ms. Lovin leads the Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice at Vangent. During her 18-year career, she has managed large-scale system integration and data migration projects for Fortune 500 companies and led the Data Architecture and Business Process Modeling practices for the private-lending arm of the World Bank Group—the International Finance Corporation. Since joining Vangent in 2005, Ms. Lovin has focused on the management of architecture programs for major federal agencies and healthcare.
