Working to provide users with a high quality customizable HR solution, ProcessMaker, the leading open source workflow & BPM solution and OrangeHRM, the leading open source HRIS solution announced a strategic alliance to provide improved out-of-the-box integration capability between OrangeHRM and ProcessMaker. The alliance between ProcessMaker and OrangeHRM will benefit clients from both companies by extending both open source solutions with additional functionality.
During the first phase of the alliance, the two companies will be working with a few targeted companies to integrate the two products based on documented needs within these “case study” clients. The companies expect to have multiple pilot implementations of the integrated solution in the market by the end of Q1 2011.
“Our goal is to give our users the freedom of having the HR processes (workflow) they wish instead of adopting their processes to the software,” said Sujee Saparamdu Co-founder and CEO of OrangeHRM. “We explored many alternatives to deliver a greatly customizable product and concluded that ProcessMaker was by far the best. By partnering with ProcessMaker, we have the opportunity to add value to OrangeHRM by integrating with one of the best workflow software products on the market. Both products being open source also gives us a strong bond in forging this partnership.”
“As ProcessMaker implementations continue to grow around the world, we see many clients creating custom workflows related to HR such as New Employee On-Boarding, Absence Request Management, Certifications Management, Evaluation and Promotion Management, and much more,” explained Brian Reale, Co-founder and CEO of ProcessMaker. “By partnering with a leading solution like OrangHRM, we will be able to better serve the needs of our clients as they seek to integrate these processes into an HR system.”
According to research by both ProcessMaker and OrangeHRM, a large number of clients have requested the kind of solution that this alliance will bring to the market.
