Metastorm a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that Metastorm ProVision Version 6 has been certified for use on standard desktop systems connected to the U.S. Air Force Global Information Grid (AF-GIG) and placed on the Air Force Evaluated/Approved Products List.
Metastorm ProVision is used by the U.S. Air Force 643rd ELSS Enterprise Architecture (EA) Group to integrate business process improvement with system design, to accelerate design and deployment of new information systems, and to better align business and IT for improved collaboration across the enterprise. The U.S. Air Force selected Metastorm ProVision because it met specific Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) requirements and standards, as well as providing needed flexibility, ease of use, robust publishing capabilities, outstanding customer support, and cost to budget. In addition, the software’s direct integration with the Metastorm BPM® Suite, which allows for easy automation and deployment of architected solutions and business processes, was a distinct differentiator.
“Being placed on the U.S. Air Force Approved Products List affirms Metastorm’s unrelenting commitment to offering fast, flexible enterprise and business architecture solutions designed to help organizations analyze, understand and optimize their business operations, while also complying with industry and government standards and regulations,” said Greg Carter, executive vice president of product development and CTO of Metastorm.
