BWise Adds Planning, Scheduling and Time-Keeping for Auditors

BWise, the global leader in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) management software, announced today that the company has integrated Ext Scheduler technology into its BWise Enterprise GRC platform. The sophisticated JavaScript based Ext Scheduler technology provides BWise with more powerful scheduling and Gantt-chart capabilities, further extending the functionality of the independent analyst recognized GRC platform.

The functionality is based on Ext JS software from BWise partner Mats Bryntse Consulting (MBC), the industry leader in enterprise JavaScript development. MBC’s scheduling products support advanced task planning, staffing, project management, resource allocation and more. The BWise Enterprise GRC platform has fully incorporated MBC’s scheduling and Gantt-charting functionality to enhance Internal Audit duties, such as, audit planning, audit scheduling and time-keeping on audits and internal auditors.

These new capabilities are available in the upcoming BWise GRC release, version 4.1 SP2. With these new capabilities BWise clients receive an intuitive interface to plan all their audit work. Internal Audit teams and Senior Auditors are enabled to create detailed, fully functional and editable audit schedules for planned assessments and audits. Auditors can be scheduled for particular audits and view their agenda in easy to read views. Auditors can manage their work with a straightforward drag-and-drop interface that provides the user with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
