Webcast: Hybrid Networks, Securing Digital Transformation, by Computing
Having emerged as a solution to efficiently and reliably deliver data where it’s needed, hybrid networks typically blend traditional Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks with managed broadband and WiFi, Hybrid networks are able to support greater numbers of connected devices and applications especially at distributed locations. They prevent congestion by increasing available bandwidth and routing traffic more intelligently, and often more cheaply, as they piggyback on top of the internet for some applications.
There is a price to pay for this increased agility: complexity, which can decrease overall performance. Network administrators may be tempted to turn down security controls to reduce the number of user complaints; this can allow intruders to sneak in unnoticed. This webinar examines hybrid networks and investigates the best way to balance performance and security to create a viable path to digital transformation.
