Another myth that relates to iPhone competitors is the quality of Android smartphones. It’s no secret that, in general, iPhones are more expensive. However, regarding Androids, the price does not directly relate to quality. Google had a different business strategy when introducing Androids, sacrificing price and profit for a more considerable user amount. In other words, they wanted as many people using Androids as possible. Making them cheaper was a way to achieve that.
One thing Google did not sacrifice was quality. On the contrary, many users got high-quality devices for an affordable price. What’s more, many expensive Android models provide numerous premium benefits compared to other manufacturers. Android’s pricing relates more to Google’s business model than the quality of the device.
3. You Need an Android App-Killer.
This myth has been around for quite some time without any good reason. It was speculated that Androids become very slow without manually closing the apps. Furthermore, some developers launched Android app-killers that should save energy and increase performance.
In reality, Androids are perfectly capable of managing the system’s resources. When smartphones entered the tech industry, the lags were typical. After all, it took time to improve their CPUs, add more RAM, etc. Nowadays, there’s no need to close apps for better performance. You can leave Android apps open in the background, and the OS automatically sets the priorities for optimal performance.
