03 April 2019, London – UC EXPO, Europe’s largest unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) event, today revealed Cisco’s Amy Chang and Lan Ye from Microsoft, as the opening keynotes for this year’s event.

With a look towards the future of cloud communications and contact centre technology, Amy Chang, Vice President of Collaboration Technology Group, Cisco will be kicking off the two-day event. During her opening keynote, Amy will take to the stage giving attendees a look into the rise of AL and ML in business communication and collaboration, sharing what’s next for this technology.

Continuing the discussion around communication in businesses, Lan Ye will open day two of UC EXPO 2019. As General Manager of Microsoft Teams, Lan will share the latest technological advancements in the collaboration industry and how businesses can drive the intelligent future workplace.

“As workforces become increasingly dispersed, the need for communication and collaboration technology has only grown. To help organisations grappling with this, we aim to provide attendees with access to some of the world’s leading experts in UC&C,” comments Gordon Sockett, Senior Content Manager for UC EXPO. “For UC EXPO 2019 we’re thrilled to be welcoming not only Microsoft and Cisco as our opening keynote speakers, but also industry leaders from Google and Amazon Web Services. In bringing together these heavyweights of the technology industry, we want attendees to walk away from the event with a comprehensive view of how they can push ahead with their UC&C strategies.”

Taking place on 15-16 May 2019 at ExCeL London, Amy and Lan are joining a roster of speakers covering the whole UC&C spectrum during UC EXPO 2019, including:

– Karoline Lewandowska, Change and Transformation Lead at Google
– Ric Harvey, Technical Developer Evangelist at Amazon Web Services
– Dave Lewis, Advisory CISO at Duo
– Rami Houbby, VP Cloud at Mitel
– Praful Shah, Chief Strategy Officer at RingCentral

This year UC EXPO attendees will also be able to access Customer Contact X, a new co-located event dedicated to helping contact centre and customer experience professionals evolve and meet the needs of the modern customer, providing the best possible service through collaboration and new technologies.

Whatever their UC&C requirements, attendees at UC EXPO 2019 will be able to access over 100 dedicated seminar sessions and over 100 exhibitors across the event’s six themes of Collaboration, UC Cloud, Networks, Customer Contact X, Security and AI.
