In the modern age, the Internet is flooded with websites, but how do you make yours stand out from the crowd? Do you want to create a modern website? Then you should pay attention to the trends we recommend for making your website a complete success.

USE STOCK IMAGES

Stock images are already a widely used medium among website designers. But because of that, they still don’t lose their importance and usefulness. Stock images are professional images provided by related agencies for use on your website. You should not do without them, because stock photos can be easily incorporated into various websites and prepare a serious look. You don’t have to go through the trouble of taking photos yourself, nor do you have to get them on your computer, because with stock images you just have to download them and paste them on your website. Nowadays there are stock images devoted to any possible topics, such as virtual PlayAmo casinos, gardening, business, IT, entertainment, cooking, interior or something else.

WORDPRESS

WordPress is a modern tool that allows you to easily create your modern website. Using WordPress is becoming more and more popular as there is a wide variety of applicable themes and templates available so you can give your website a modern look. Using it requires some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you can use WordPress to create chic, modern websites. For how to use WordPress, our blog post on creating WordPress websites will help you.

MOBILE COMPATIBILITY

As humans, we always have our smartphones with us everywhere. This also affects the design of modern websites because the appropriate view on the smartphone is becoming increasingly important. Terms like infinite scrolling or fixed navigation should be in the back of your mind. Not only should you adapt your design to the view on a smartphone, but you should also incorporate fewer clicks and more scrolling.

The term Infinite Scrolling describes the structure of the website so that the user explores content by scrolling the website. It has been confirmed that users today are more focused on scrolling than on clicking. This can be proven, for example, by the feed on Instagram or Facebook, since this is defined only by scrolling.

If you want to use this method on your website, you should also consider fixed navigation. This means that when someone scrolls down your page, the navigation or menu bar does not move and therefore does not disappear. This has the advantage that the user, no matter where he is on your site, can always access the menu and act flexibly on your site.

Another sub-point that belongs to the trend of mobile-first is the hamburger menu. This is the name given to the three small strips that usually appear at the top right of the screen. By clicking on them, you can reach the menu and save valuable space on your website. This is what this menu was created for, to save space on the smartphone view. But in the meantime, it has become indispensable in the browser as well.

The smartphone accompanies us every day and should therefore not be ignored when creating your modern website.

A PERSONALIZED USER EXPERIENCE

On all known platforms there is a personalized user experience. Whether it’s on Netflix under “You might like this” or on TikTok on the “For You” page, the internet knows what we like. When you create your modern website, you should get back to this trend as well.

PERFORMANCE&WEBSITE SPEED

Last but not least – the performance of your website can make all the difference. What may sound like a given at first is often underestimated! The particular page speed of your site can cause you to rank better or worse on Google. Thus, it also influences the activity and success of your site. You want to create a modern website and of course, make it successful. Therefore, you should not cut corners and make sure that your page speed score is as good as possible.

In conclusion, it must be noted that having a modern website is crucial to the success of your business.
