Finding a Better Connection with Customers
Retailer Pier 1 Imports wanted to use insights and data to better connect with its customers. To do that, the company took to the cloud to pilot a predictive analytics solution based on Microsoft Azure HDInsight, Azure Machine Learning, and the Microsoft Power BI analytics service. As a result of the pilot, Pier 1 Imports can use data insights to predict which products customers will want in the future. Using predictive modeling, the company created a dynamic website to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of its marketing campaigns.
