LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2016 — Globanet™, an information management firm specializing in messaging compliance, announced today the latest release of Globanet Merge1™, the company’s flagship archiving software tool.  The new release of Merge1 empowers Microsoft Office 365 users to capture ‘more than just email’, enabling them to archive a wide variety of popular message types into the Office 365 repository, including Facebook messages and text messages.  This release also features support for the Cisco Jabber messaging platform, while offering an enhanced user interface.

Today, modern workforces communicate across a variety of mediums: Instant Message, Text Message, Social Media, and Social Collaboration, as well as across financial messaging platforms. Merge1 gives organizations greater control over their workforce’s communications by helping capture, archive and search the conversations that are taking place.  This helps organizations better monitor ‘what’s being said’ by their staff, improves search quality when conducting eDiscovery for litigation or regulatory investigations and ensures compliance with industry-mandated regulations to capture and monitor employees communications, such as in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries.

Merge1 archives messages into industry-leading archiving platforms including Microsoft Office 365 and Veritas Enterprise Vault, on-premise and cloud archives.   Merge1 is archive-agnostic and is customizable to archive messages from any messaging platform an organization deploys.

Features and Benefits of The Newest Version of Merge1 include:

Support of Microsoft Office 365 – Merge1 now captures and archives messages into Microsoft Office 365.

New User Interface A new, web-based user interface allows administrators to log in and manage Merge1 from any browser.  The new Merge1 interface delivers a streamlined, intuitive and interactive end-user experience; the product’s legacy MC console has been retired.  Additionally, the new UI – which is full HTML – includes a dynamic and robust Dashboard which can manage data from a workstation.

Auditing Feature Provides administrators a separate database with login, reset and metadata tracking for improved compliance.  License connector (for accurate user counts) and auto-updates are included and assist with tracking requirements.

Upgraded Login Rights Includes unique login credentials, ability to change accounts and a ‘forgot password’ option for end users.  Opt-in site integration is also incorporated.

x64 Architecture Helps users take advantage of more available server memory, provides the ability to process larger messages and delivers enhanced product performance.  The product now also supports the latest version of Microsoft Windows 2012.

Support for Cisco Jabber & FacebookArchives messages sent across the Cisco Jabber messaging platform.  The product now also captures Facebook messages, posts and content located on Facebook fan pages.

According to Jackie Ervin, CTO of Globanet, “The latest version of Merge1 is consistent with the product’s long tradition of enabling our clients to meet their regulatory compliance, eDiscovery and data management requirements.  The product has always been an affordable, user-friendly way to merge all company data into a single database of text-based transaction records. Today’s announcement extends the archiving capabilities of Merge1 to all Microsoft Office 365 users and saves time, storage, management overhead and cost by merging disparate data sources into one centralized archive.”

Merge1 connects to and retrieves a wide variety of message types, including Facebook, Bloomberg, Symphony, FactSet, Thomson Reuters Eikon, BlackBerry, Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Yammer, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 EWS 3rd Party Targets, Salesforce Chatter, Jive, CipherCloud, Merrill Chat, UBS, BlackBerry, MobileGuard, Cisco Jabber, Twitter, Market Look, Liquidnet, FX Connect, EML Files, Database Content and more.

Merge1’s instant download and simple installation process allows organizations to quickly implement and maintain it as their easy-to-use message capture software.

Merge1 is priced per active seat for each source connector.  For more information or to request a quote please contact a Globanet Sales Representative at Sales@Globanet.Com or (888) 427-5505.  Merge1 is currently available.
